Characterization of Quantum States of Matter and Light

From September 23rd to September 25th, the International Meeting on Engineering, Manipulation, and Characterization of Quantum States of Matter and Light is being held in Barcelona at the Hotel Catalonia Ramblas.

This event marks the end of the very successful Research Training Network EMALI funded by the EU. In addition to the presentation of results from EMALI work by the group of EMALI-trained fellows, confirmed speakers from outside the network are Jean Dalibard, Jeff Kimble, Andreas Wallraff and Christaine Koch. Furthermore, the program includes the following speakers, who are members of the network: Ennio Arimondo, Michael Fleischhauer, Atac Imamoglu, Giovanna Morigi, David Petrosyan, Eugene Polzik, Ferdinand Schmidt-Kaler, Nikolay Vitanov, Ian Walmsley, and Anton Zeilinger. Researchers interested in participating should register through this website, and are invited to submit an abstract for a poster presentation.

The registration deadline has been extended to July 31st.

Registration is open to researchers from outside the network. Anyone interested in participating is invited to submit an abstract for a poster presentation.

Some financial assistance is still available for student participants from outside the EMALI network. For more information, please contact the organisers.
